Join us on December 3 as Sustain OC presents an important zero-emission and plug-in hybrid vehicle marketing Lunch & Learn focused on public-entity fleets featuring:
- An overview of California's Clean Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP) and and the process of utilizing this program for purchasing and/or lease of new, eligible zero-emission vehicles for public fleets. Qualifying vehicles include EV, plug-in hybrid and fuel cell vehicles.
- Details of CVRP’s past accomplishments, current progress and future objectives for providing incentives to encourage the acquisition of zero-emission and near zero-emission vehicles for public entity fleets.
- How California is leading the nation in clean vehicle adoption, with more plug-in electric vehicles on its roadways than any other state.
- Research outlining why a shift away from gasoline and diesel brings many environmental and economic benefits, including less air pollution and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
The Center for Sustainable Energy (CSE) administers CVRP throughout the state for the California Air Resources Board (CARB).CARB also offers CVRP for Public Fleets, with a standard CVRP rebate for all California public entities and increased incentives for those entities operating in California’s most vulnerable and pollution-burdened areas.
